For those that missed the surprising, and highly politically motivated, appearance of Senator Hillary Clinton on The O’Reilly Factor I present the first of four videos of the interview.
This is a powerful speech, and could be what helps to create history. Do you think it will usher in a new age of Camelot, a different better path for America? Ted Kennedy does.
From all of us at the 1800blogger family, we wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. May you enjoy peace, love, and happiness among friends and family.
I wanted to try and find something that could sum up 2007 in a visual and vocal manner. Something that could express the world and its current status. So YouTube was one of my eventual stops. And there were many choices.
I threw out all the fights and stupid human tricks. Out went anything that had to do with Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, and the other dregs of humanity. Out went the political gaffes and posturing.
In the end I found a simple man, who works like everyone else, with ordinary looks. A guy that you wouldn’t notice on the street, and a manner that is best described as shy. He, Paul Potts, is my reminder that with all the turmoil and strife and idiocy in the world the human spirit can attain far more than what we see on the major news media everyday.
I share this with you and wish you a happy holiday.
Taking a moment to reflect on the Presidential race, all of the comments debate and punditry that has gone on since the beginning of the year, I was sitting back and remembered something. The television show, The West Wing, had probably the best debates and political competition I have ever experienced in 40 years of my life.
Taking a scene from that show, I want to share a thought that I think is very important in the division among conservatives, liberals, democrats, republicans and everyone else in the nation right now.
I just saw this live on Fox News and had to find the YouTube of it. This is the ultimate example of a guy who believes in his product. He is so confident that Mark Littell took a 90 mile an hour baseball to the family jewels on live TV. He didn’t even blink because of his NuttyBuddy. That’s a product that works. See for yourself.
If I told you that there was a movie featuring Morgan Freeman, Angelina Jolie, bullet time like effects, guns, action, and assasins? Would you see it? Well tell me after you see this trailer.
This is an example of base, derogatory, humorless, filth on the internet and television. As bad as some campaigns or political debates may be these days, this goes one step lower. It is the equal of the MoveOn.org ad and leaves me saddened that our national politics have fallen to the level of refuse.
You can see the video here, and tell me if you agree. I will be discussing it more indepth at Presidential Race Blog.
I probably get about 25 funny emails a day that supposed to be funny but are really not. Well, here’s something that has always cracked me up. Whenever I need a good laugh, I play it. Your turn.
