Cowell to Step Down from American Idol

Tuesday, August 21st, 2007

We all know him and we love him and hate him all during the same show. How many people can you say that about?

Simon Cowell won’t be with us forever. He recently told the Mirror that he would be leaving American Idol after three years.

Message to Simon. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. Please don’t leave us Simon. We love to see you bored, angry, rude, arrogant and uninterested. It’s what makes the show.

Fox, give him a raise.

Racial Progress Has Been Made

Monday, August 13th, 2007

Has anyone followed Tiger Woods around a golf tournament lately? Chances are that you haven’t because it’s impossible to follow Tiger. Why? Because thousands of people follow Tiger at every golf tournament. It was estimated that half of all people at every golf tournament either follow Tiger’s group or attempt to follow Tiger’s group. After winning his 13th major gold tournament this weekend, Tiger is the king of his sport. He also earns millions each year on endorsements.

Turn the clock back 30 years ago and check out Hank Aaron’s endorsement numbers. Unfair comparison? Compare his numbers to the white superstars of the 60’s and 70’s. It’s fair, trust me. Would love to hear your opinion.

First George Bush, Now Ron Paul

Wednesday, August 8th, 2007

This is really scary stuff.

I was just browsing around on Technorati and saw that one of the most popular search terms is Ron Paul. First George Bush which I couldn’t believe, is there a chance that I will actually be stuck with Ron Paul as my Commander in Chief?

Am I the only one that sits at my desk and ponders that I would rather vote for Jared from the Subway Commercials?

Senator Clinton Has Lost Her Mind

Tuesday, August 7th, 2007

According to Senator Clinton in an interview on CNBC a few minutes ago, the problems in the sub-prime debt market are the lenders fault. It is simply amazing that the Senator will say anything to get elected. Connect yourself to the hot topic.

Does anyone in the entire country really believe that this is not the same person who would say, “We need to give first time home buyers a chance to buy a home.”

When they do and can’t pay the bills, it’s the lenders fault. Simply unbelievable.

In 2004, Senator Clinton was cheering the Federal Home Loan Bank.
