I’m No Racist But ….
September 20, 2007 – 1:33 pm | by adminSorry, I’m no racist but why does it seem that people like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson show up everywhere where there is a current event of racial tension?
I’m no racist but I’ve never heard of the Reverends showing up at the casket of black military personnel coming back from Iraq in a coffin.
I’ve never heard of the Reverends showing up when a young black man gets shot by drug dealers in Chicago. But, get shot by a cop or get jailed in Lousiana with racial tensions flying and you’re sure to see the Reverends.
One of my associates said to me that’s because they want press on these types of issues but they do show up to others. If that’s the case, that’s sad. Why is a cop shooting so much more important than getting shot by a drug dealer?
Can anyone answer?
