Perhaps it’s me but doesn’t it seem that due to the trial and the media since, OJ Simpson is considered on the same level as Jack the Ripper these days? Whether that is fair or not, it seems apparent.

The other thing I notice about this coverage, which seems to have never ended since the verdict was announced, is that it has become about the money. That is for everyone involved. The Brown’s, Goldman’s, Simpson and the ever present media.

Reguardless of what you think about it, the money and infamy are just wrong. At least I think so.

I was just talking to a friend about keeping your children grounded. I asked him, “How do you live in a nice home and drive a nice car and still keep your children grounded?”

Here’s his reply.

“I had a friend whose child was drag racing and the guy that he was drag racing with actually killed someone. His friend’s child was distraught because his car was badly damaged when he avoided the pedestrian in the accident. The father surprised the child with a new car. The new car was the exact replica of the damaged car, a $130,000 Mercedes.”

Keeping your children grounded starts with the parents.

According to Senator Clinton in an interview on CNBC a few minutes ago, the problems in the sub-prime debt market are the lenders fault. It is simply amazing that the Senator will say anything to get elected. Connect yourself to the hot topic.

Does anyone in the entire country really believe that this is not the same person who would say, “We need to give first time home buyers a chance to buy a home.”

When they do and can’t pay the bills, it’s the lenders fault. Simply unbelievable.

In 2004, Senator Clinton was cheering the Federal Home Loan Bank.

I bet myself that after hearing about the execution syle murders in New Jersey, I wouldn’t hear anything about this from racial activists like Al Sharpton and Reverend Jesse Jackson. It was a sucker bet.

I visited Al Sharpton’s website and saw much in the news about Abner Louima 10 years after he was a victim of police brutality. I guess the hoods in New Jersey don’t matter to the Reverend.

After contacting the Rainbow Coalition, I was told by a lady by the name of Mema that no statement has been released as of yet.

Did you ever ask yourself why?
